At the initiative of His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State in Nigeria, “Towards A Greater Lagos” is the theme for the 2019 global gathering of United People Global (UPG), a community that encourages people to make the world a better place by creating a world where ordinary people have more power.
UPG 2019 is a global gathering that is built on a unique perspective: explore the global agenda through the eyes of a city. With the new administration in Lagos committed to being Lagos’ most inclusive movement, UPG 2019 presents a special opportunity for interactions that have real impact on the lives of real people.
